Welcome to SparrowSleeps.com!

For those that are unfamiliar with Sparrow Sleeps, the project started in October of 2013 with the birth of Sparrow Lucille Cole; 8 pounds 6 ounces of beauty born to a pop-punk dad that had grown soft in his old age. I (Casey) am the soft pop-punk dad.

After two weeks of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” on repeat, I took to the internet to find that there were a couple of modern lullaby options, but I couldn’t find anything that I grew up listening to.

So, I created an album of Saves the Day lullabies to listen to while rocking Sparrow to sleep. And they worked. Sparrow was falling asleep faster than our “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” days, and I found myself rocking her well after she fell asleep because I was familiar with the music that we were now both enjoying... together.

As of April 2015, Sparrow Lucille is now 18 months old. In those 18 months, I created a number of other lullaby albums, and now I want to share them all with you.

Early this year, I teamed up with Peter for help with the visual aspects of Sparrow Sleeps. And the result is the site that you are now poking around, as well as the album covers you are seeing.

In the last few months, we’ve been in contact with a handful of bands and been able to create some really rad releases for you to use as tools to help your little ones fall asleep.

The most unique new feature on our site is our Custom Lullabies page, where you can have us create a lullaby rendition of your favorite song (or songs). We recently let AbsolutePunk.net give the Custom Lullabies page a whirl, and they seemed to enjoy the results.

The Sparrow Sleeps team will be posting new lullabies regularly, so be sure to follow us on Twitter (@SparrowSleeps) and Facebook (/SparrowSleeps) to see when new lullabies get uploaded.

Thanks for visiting, and Tell All Your Friends (with babies).
